FREE End-of-life Care

Coaching Sessions

On a scale of 1-10, how would you rank your clinic on its compassionate end-of-life care?

During these coaching sessions, we will suggest tools, tips and ways to elevate the euthanasia appointment, to the day of and through your aftercare practices. From there we will provide expert advice on ways that you can improve the vocabulary used, the environment provided, and the services offered, making your team feel they did everything they could to support families.

These are some of the most important procedures we perform at the veterinary practice, yet they are often avoided because they are so emotionally taxing. Euthanasia is one of the most common ground for professional complaints and then the client perceives an issue, we can be sure that they will not return with future or other pets in the home.

If you would like to bring beauty to the tragedy of loss, improve the clinic’s relationship with your pet owners and give the most dignified and deserving send off to these beloved companions, book your FREE 1:1 coaching session now.

Dr. Sunday Cozzi, DVM, our End-of-Life Care Coach

Nearly half of Dr. Sunday Cozzi’s 25-year career has been focused on end-of-life care for furry family members. After spending 10 + years providing in-home hospice and euthanasia, she has spent enough time sitting on the floor (in bedrooms, kitchens and even bathrooms!) with grieving families to understand their needs and desires. Her conviction that plastic bags are for trash and should never be used for deceased pets led her to EUTHABAG. She is delighted to be part of a team focused on elevating the end-of-life experience for everyone involved and committed to promoting social causes and protecting the environment.

Sunday lives in South Carolina with her husband and a goofy rescue dog. Two cats allow them to share their home. A recent empty nester, she enjoys good food, travel, exercise, laughing as often as possible, spending time with friends, and (fun fact!) playing fantasy football (she won her league in 2022!).
